Lieutenant Bravo is one of two fulltime paid employees. Lieutenant Bravo began his career in the fire service as a Reserve Firefighter with the West Sacramento Fire Department in 1998. During that time he concurrently worked as an EMT for America Medical Response in Yolo County. Prior to coming to the West Plainfield Fire Department, Lieutenant Bravo worked 18 years for CAL FIRE in a broad range of assignments including Logistics, Fire Suppression, the Emergency Command Center, and the Fire Prevention Bureau as Public Information Officer for Lake, Colusa, and Yolo Counties. In 2016 Lieutenant Bravo made the move to the California Governor's Office of Emergency Services, working in the California State Warning Center coordinating federal, state, and local resources for all types of emergency incidents locally as well as federally and all hazardous materials reporting for the State. Lieutenant Bravo has volunteered in his community as a Firefighter for the Placer County Fire Department, Antelope Little League Coach, and Varsity Baseball & Football Coach in the Roseville Joint Unified High School District. Lieutenant Bravo was appointed to the West Plainfield Fire Department in October of 2018.
