Fire Captain Bravo is one of six fulltime paid employees and is currently assigned to the "A" Shift. Fire Captain Bravo began his career in the fire service as a Reserve Firefighter with the West Sacramento Fire Department in 1998. During that time he concurrently worked as an EMT for American Medical Response in Yolo County. Prior to coming to the West Plainfield Fire Department, Fire Captain Bravo worked 18 years for CAL FIRE in a broad range of assignments including Logistics, Fire Suppression, the Emergency Command Center, and the Fire Prevention Bureau as Public Information Officer for Lake, Colusa, and Yolo Counties. In 2016 Fire Captain Bravo made the move to the California Governor's Office of Emergency Services, working in the California State Warning Center coordinating federal, state, and local resources for all types of emergency incidents locally as well as federally and all hazardous materials reporting for the State.  Fire Captain Bravo is a volunteer in his community as a Firefighter for the Elkhorn Fire Protection District, Antelope Little League Coach, and Varsity Baseball & Football Coach in the Roseville Joint Unified High School District.  Fire Captain Bravo was appointed to the West Plainfield Fire Department in October of 2018.
