Part-time (20 hrs/wk) Fire Battalion Chief - duties include: fire department administration, payroll, manage/supervise career staff and volunteer fire fighting personnel and projects, respond to alarms as an apparatus operator and/or Officer/IC, administer fire prevention/inspection and weed abatement programs, manage maintenance of equipment and buildings, perform other duties as directed. Salary beginning at $30/hr DOQ; social security only, no PERS or health insurance. Rural and mostly volunteer fire district seeks experienced, trained, educated fire professional.
