West Plainfield Fire Department is continuously recruiting for Reserve Firefighters. Candidates must be 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent and have a valid driver's license. Must also have current FA/CPR/AED certification. Must be able to staff West Plainfield Fire Station 30 at least 72 hours per month (restrictions apply while in probationary status).
Under our Joint Operations Agreement with Willow Oak Fire and Winters Fire, and after meeting the West Plainfield Fire Department hourly requirements, Reserve Firefighters may now also provide additional staffing for Willow Oak Fire Station 7 and Winters Fire Station 26.
