Fire Captain Booth is one of our volunteer officers. Fire Captain Booth comes to us with more than 10 years of Firefighter/Paramedic experience, seven of those working in Yolo County. Michael has worked as a Firefighter/Paramedic with The Yocha Dehe Fire Department and with Placer Hills Fire Protection District. Most recently, Michael worked as a Trauma Technician at the UC Davis Medical Center and as a Paramedic with AMR. Michael was selected Firefighter of the Year for Yocha Dehe Fire Department in 2007. Michael brings a wide-ranging range of skills to the West Plainfield Fire Department including technical rescue, confined space rescue and trench rescue. Fire Captain Booth was appointed to the West Plainfield Fire Department in June of 2019.
